Prayer and Meditation: The Father’s Love

Dear Heavenly Father,

I Thank you for your love for me.  I thank you for having mercy on me.  Instead of giving me the destruction that I deserve, you gave me  one more chance to live.  I bless your name, because you have made me alive again, unto a living hope, by the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (I Peter 1:3).    When my heart felt helpless, and hopeless you remind me that I am the apple of your eye. How great is the love that you have lavished on me (Psalm 86:13)!  When I felt rejected and used, you remind me that I am your child and there is no end to your love for me and that nothing shall be able to separate me from the Love of God (Romans 8:39).  When I am confused and don’t know which way to turn, you confirm your plans for my life, and I thank you for your plan to give me hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).   When I feel like a stranger in this world, you remind me that this is not my home, and that you have prepared a place for me that is eternal in your kingdom (Hebrews 11:13).  Thank you Father for always thinking of me, considering me, loving me, caring for me, restoring me and renewing me.  I thank you, that you saw fit to make me a part of you (I Corinthians 6:15).

In Jesus Name I pray,

Amen.
